Up gradation of Community Health Centres (CHC), Ranchi district- The project aims at renovating and up gradation of the Malnutrition Treatment Centre (MTC) and Reproductive & Child Health Care (RCH) centre. These centres are responsible for taking care of health and nutrition of both mother and child, as well as proper development of the child and improving the quality of the mother’s life. The RCH wings of CHC provide a wide range of services to both the mother and child like RI, ANC, referrals, etc. Close to 150 children along with their mothers avail these services. This renovation ensures that the centres will go long way in ensuring access to health and nutritional support to some of the most marginalised communities in Mandar Block, Ranchi District, and Jharkhand. It includes refurbishing regarding increasing the space following social-distancing norms, construction of toilets, bathing areas, drinking water facilities and proper sewage treatment. This project will be implemented in partnership with Round Table India (RTI) NGO.
